AeroClassics
Aero Classics models are a very popular model in 1/400 scale and extremely rare. The models are produced in small quantities. Aero Classics are die cast with highly detailed tampo printing and not the antiquated cheaper technique of decals. Because of the quality and the high demand from collectors, the price is market driven.
Aero Classics models have a large range of schemes from renowned airlines like KLM, Royal Dutch Airlines and Eastern Airlines. Early models of the classic prop-liners included Douglas DC-3 and Lockheed Constellation. The 1950's saw the introduction of the Convair CV-880's and Douglas DC-8's as the classics of the Jet age through the 1990’s.
Today’s Aero Classics, as well as its earlier brands are produced in higher numbers, but still in limited quantities when compared with some of the other top brands. Aero Classics are manufactured with one of the latest innovations to come out of China with “rolling tires” in a small 1/400 scale. Aero Classics and its many brands are valued by the hobbyist, enthusiasts and industry professional as one of the top five models being produced, for its quality, degree of accuracy and collectability.
